When most people think about beach photography on Dauphin Island, they immediately picture sunset—and for good reason. The sunsets here are beautiful. But honestly? Sunrise sessions might be one of the Gulf Coast’s best-kept secrets.


There is something incredibly peaceful about starting the day on the beach while the island is still quiet. The light is soft and golden, the air feels calmer, and the beach is often nearly empty. It creates a completely different experience than the busy energy that can build later in the day.
